The 61st annual Texas Camp will take place over Thanksgiving Weekend, November 27-30, at scenic Greene Family Camp in the hill country of central Texas. Yves and France Moreau will present dances from Bulgaria and French Canada, and France will also do a special session of children’s dances. George Fogg will present English country dances. Anne-Louise Schaffer will teach singing classes, and the inimitable Don Weeda will direct our lively and talented Camp Band. Members of the Slavadillo quartet and the Homegrown Contra Band will also provide live music during the weekend. Chef Laura LaGue returns for a third year to provide hearty, healthy, and tasty ethnic cuisine, and of course there will be parties, special sessions galore, and all sorts of other fun.
